Michael Scott was born 28 September, 1959 in Dublin Ireland and is a renowned author of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series as well as numerous books for both adults and young adults. Scott has also worked on numerous stage and screen scriptwriting projects. Ten literary awards have been bestowed to Scott for his work on the Nicholas Flamel series, most recently the 2010 NCSLMA Young Adult Book Award. Scott has also written several drama and romance novels under the pseudonym Anna Dillon.
